Icy Bay Lodge specializes in fly fishing for Silver Salmon on small, remote streams, saltwater flats, and backwater marshes. We also catch Pink Salmon, Dolly Varden, and the occasional Cutthroat and Steelhead Trout in these waters. We are the only lodge in Icy Bay with access to the areas we fish and it's rare to have another group of anglers within 50 miles. Icy Bay's guides are passionate about giving all of our guests a true Alaskan experience.
During the Summer months we focus on Halibut and feeder King Salmon that average 20 lbs., but we also catch Ling Cod, and Rockfish; all within 25 miles of the lodge. Most lodges take over 2 hours to get clients to where the Halibut are. Our remote location allows us to get to our best areas for Halibut in less than an hour.
